Referencing a view from inside a cave, the expanse of sand before you and the distant shoreline just perceptible, I wanted to abstract this view to recreate the feeling of strangeness I feel when stood within the earth. The planes of the rock face become soft and begin to merge, the stretch of rock around you feels like a bridge to another place. The colours are cool, like the air, with soft lilacs, blues and muted pinks speaking to a quieter mood.
